As it is Veteran's Day here in the United States, we're spending the weekend recognizing the service and sacrifice thousands of men and women provided throughout our nation's history, allowing us the freedoms we enjoy every day. With that in mind, I thought I would take a few minutes and dive into the Book Roulette, pulling some books that feature members of the military and veterans.
1. The Forgotten Soldier (Pike Logan, 9), by Brad Thor

In this heart-stopping thriller from New York Times-bestselling author Brad Thor, Pike Logan returns with his most dangerous and personal threat yet: a Taskforce Operator gone rogue.
2. Hunter Killer: The True Story of the Drone Mission That Killed Anwar al-Awlaki, by Lt. Col. T. Mark McCurley
The first-ever inside look at the U.S. Military's secretive Remotely Piloted Aircraft program -- equal parts techno-thriller, historical account, and war memoir.

Fortunately, I was able to read several books that you have presented here. I am lucky because I got the chance to know things about "SEAL Team Six: Hunt the Scorpion" written by Don Mann and "The Things They Carried"  by Tim O'Brien. Reading a book about military and veterans is definitely a new world that we should explore. There are people who prefer reading posts related to their courses, while there are some who want to explore, and I am part of that population! Knowing more things about these veterans is a good thing.

I completely agree! That is one of the amazing things about reading -- it helps us empathize and allows us to experience the world through others' eyes.
